It is with regret to inform you that our donors and supporters, Peter and Lynette Op’thof, are leaving Langebaan Animal Care from today, the 31st May 2024, so that they can spend some quality time together.
They have dedicated over 7 years to volunteering at LAC, with the last 4 years spent managing and running our Charity Shop. Lynette loved her “Shop of Treasures” and worked virtually 7 days a week without a break. However, as all long-term volunteers know, this dedication and hard work does eventually start catching up on one, so a “Time Out” is definitely needed.
We wish them all the very best for this break and certainly want to thank them for their years of hard work and dedication to LAC.
? ? We are sure you will all join us in sending them our love and gratitude and we are sure after their batteries have recharged they will be back volunteering again.
